I just had the pleasure of photographing the wedding of Tamara and Shaun in Malibu California; it was a blast. The weather was in the 80′s, the sky was blue with a light ocean breeze; you couldn’t ask for a better day.
Shaun and the fellas got ready at the Huntley Hotel and then it was up to the Penthouse for more photos. It was cool to see Greg & Richard again. The last time I saw them both was when Greg was marrying Melissa. Shaun Groomsmen, Greg, Brandon and Richard are a sharp bunch of men, but pretty they are not, for that I had to drive to Westlake Village Inn and meet the ladies.
When I arrived to meet Tamara, the room was full of love. Tamara and her Bridesmaids were listening to Sade very relax, smiling, chatting and having a great time. After the hair and make-up was done I had a few minutes to photograph the ladies in the patio and honestly, I could not take a bad picture even if I tried. Tamara was a beautiful Bride, her wedding dress was very elegant and her Bridesmaids red dresses looked fantastic in the sunlight.
The pews of the Church of Christ in Pepperdine were full of friends and family. The stain glass walls were shinning in all their glory, the ceremony began on time and a lovely ceremony it was. After a few family portraits we headed over to The Sunset Restaurant on the beach and celebrated with a few bridal portraits on the sand. I had a great time, I always do. IT was a great honor to photograph this wedding. In my opinion, I think you both won this one.
