Nallely and Erick have been planning their civil wedding for over a year. Nallely’s plan was to walk from her penthouse suite at the Wharf Inn in San Francisco, to Pier 39 on Embarcadero street, take the Blue & Gold Ferry and meet her Groom in Tiburon a small town of Marin County and she did it but, in the rain. We anticipated rain so we made preparations the week before. We bought the Bride and Groom clear dome shape umbrellas which I thought would be fun for pictures. The camera was in a water proof bag and my assistant covered me and the camera as we made our way to the ferry. It was great to see that tourist and Bay Area Natives clap and cheer as the Bride walked the streets in her beautiful wedding dress in the rain. Nallely and Erick had their hearts set on getting married at the edge of the shore in Tiburon but Mother Nature had other plans. When Nallely arrived we learned that her guest had taken shelter in Guaymas, a restaurant near by. I looked for the manager and explained the situation and she suggested that we use the upper room of the restaurant!!! THIS IS GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE, without taken a dime she offered their room for this special moment. The staff lit candles, turned on the fireplace and created a charming place for family and guest to witness this wonderful event. After they exchanged their vows the rain stopped and we went outside for the family portraits.
