Carlos Valentino | Truly an Exceptional Photographer

Monday, January 23rd, 2012

“Carlos is truly an exceptional photographer. He photographed for my twin sister’s wedding a few weeks ago and he did an awesome job!  My fiancé and I liked him so much that we also booked him for our wedding coming up next year.  Carlos loves what he does and it really shows in his work. His wife, Sunny, is also part of his team. She assists Carlos throughout the whole process which also helps everything flow smoothly. If you’re looking for a high quality photographer who offers packages at reasonable prices, Carlos is definitely the way to go. He is the best investment we ever made!” Review made on Yelp

Nallely and Erick Cathedral of the Blessed Sacrament | Carlos Valentino

Nallely and Erick had their civil wedding at Tiburon earlier this year and this weekend they celebrated their religious ceremony in Sacramento at the Cathedral of the Blessed Sacrament. I first met with Erick and his Groomsmen and took pictures of them poolside. Then ran to see Nallely for her getting ready pictures. Nallely looked cool and relaxed as she was getting her make up done by Anita and when we were finished with family photos we whisked her over to the House of Fashion so they could adjust her veil and train. The ceremony began at 2pm. Erick waited for his bride in front of the alter as Nallely walked down the aisle with her father towards her groom. The church was packed with friends and family. The mother of the bride gave her a blessing before the father handed her of to the groom; mother and daughter briefly cried. Mariachis sang hymns during the ceremony and in front of us all Erick and Nallely were made one. After-wards we walked down J street and photographed them in front of the Crest Theater and the Capital.

Wedding Featured | Sacramento Bride and Groom Magazine

Monday, January 17th, 2011

With all the stuff that was happening at my place over the holidays it’s been a bit hard for me to be on my game the last few weeks, but I’m excited to see that Marlene and Ernesto’s Wedding was featured in Sacramento Bride & Groom.  They’re such a cool couple and it was so much fun photographing their wedding at Rancho Murieta Country Club. I included an image of the magazine spread. I know it hard to read off my blog but you can read the actual article on-line it’s on page 108 or look for Sacramento Bride and Groom where ever magazines are sold.

Here are two pages of the album that I designed for this event. Weddings are always fun but once that cake is cut and the last dance is done, I’m transform from photographer to a album designer. My job, when laying out the images for the wedding album, is to assemble the images that will best tell the story of the events that took place on your wedding day. The wedding heirlooms that I offer to my bridal couples are custom leather bound albums with images that are printed directly on to the page protecting your investment.

Le Rivage Hotel & Spa Wedding Photography | Susan and Mike

Sunday, September 26th, 2010

Susan and Mike were married at the beautiful Le Rivage Hotel and Spa which sits right in front of the Sacramento River. Le Rivage has a old Mediterranean charm and it’s a great place for wedding, a few minutes here and I forgot that I was in Sacramento. The ceremony was held out on the lawn over the marina and the guest were a lively and knew how to party.  Later that evening the clouds started to roll in allowing for a dramatic sky and great pictures.

Rancho Murieta Country Club Wedding | Marlene and Ernesto

Sunday, September 12th, 2010

Rancho Murieta Sacramento Wedding Photography Carlos ValentinoI felt so much love photographing this wedding. I’ve known Marlene for a few years so when she asked if I would photograph her wedding I was thrilled! The wedding began with a rehearsal dinner on Friday night with family, great food, a kiss and a Hawaiian Lei from the Bride, wishing all her guest good luck. The house was buzzing all night with excitement and it ended with a few fun family portraits. The next day was a great day for a wedding. Ernesto paced back and forth as he rehearsed his vows and the rest of the family busied about the house getting ready. At the other side of the community, Marlene was glamorous in her teal Mermaid dress looking like Spanish Royalty. The officiant for the ceremony was the brother of the Bride and doves were released in memory of loved ones. After the toast and the cake the DJ opened up the floor and guest danced and celebrated the whole night through; Rancho Murieta Country Club is a great place for a wedding.

Thank you Marlene and Ernesto for making me feel like family, love and blessing.

p.s. Give it up to the following vendors that made Marlene & Ernesto’s wedding fabulous!

In & Out Engagement Carlos Valentino Wedding PhotographerBridal couples have sent me emails in the past raving about the service that I have provided for them on their wedding day but this is the first time I receive a compliment an entire year before the wedding.  I was shooting a wedding at Rancho Murieta Country Club this weekend and in the crowd was an engaged young lady that happen to hire me for her wedding next year. Later that night I recieved a quick note on FaceBook from her Fiance saying, “…Nallely told me that she saw you do an excellent job. She said you were everywhere and she hasn’t seen a photographer do a job like you and she wasn’t saying that because you are our photographer. We too are blessed and know that you do more than just photography you truly care about our special day and it is evident that you enjoy what you do…” You never know who is watching.

Rancho Murieta Country Club Wedding Photography

Last night we photographed our friends at Rancho Murieta Country Club, what a beautiful and serene place for a wedding. It was a great idea to photograph them at the same time of day that the wedding will be taking place. We scouted the golf course for the best location for their bridal portrait and went we over the time line for the day. I didn’t know that Rancho Murieta had two 18 hole championship golf courses! It was so much fun to hangout and photograph the engaged couple, they are so full of excitement.  I am so lucky to be photographing theit wedding and I’m looking forward to meeting the family at the rehearsal dinner.

Zaballa House Half Moon Bay Wedding Photography | Betty & Jose

Saturday, July 17th, 2010

I started my day with a relaxing 3 hour car drive from Sacramento to the the historic Zaballa House at the delightful coastal town of Half Moon Bay. Betty, the bride, was beautiful and nervous and Jose, the groom, was handsome, quiet and just as anxious.  They both had their own suite at the Zaballa House which made it easy for me to photograph them as they were getting ready.  Zaballa House at Half Moon Bay Wedding Photographer | Carlos Valentino

My Wedding Day - July 24th 2004

Weddings are always a challenge. Finding the perfect wedding cake was fun, but spending countless of extra hours in the gym to make sure that we looked great on our wedding day; that my friend was tough. However, that wasn’t nearly as challenging as making sure that all the guest had their portraits from our wedding. Our family members flew in from varies parts of the world for our wedding and like many families, we haven’t been together in the same room for years. Sending everyone a print of our family portrait was an added step to the wedding processes that we didn’t foresee. Believe me after a wedding the last thing you want to deal with is more wedding stuff, isn’t that the reason why we go on a honeymoon in the first place to leave all that wedding stuff behind? That is the reason why we created the Carlos Valentino Store Front. All of your wedding images are uploaded to a location where your guest can view and purchase their portrait prints, leaving you free of worry.
