I'm a photographer that enjoys Wedding photography, Engagement photography, Quinceanera photography, Sweet 16 photography, Family Portrait photography, High School Senior photography and Head Shot photography. I was born in Brooklyn New York, I currently live in Sacramento California and I suspect that one day I may be living in Miami Florida.

CrawFord's Barn | Wedding

This was my first time at the CrawFord's Barn. This small gem is a intimate, romantic rustic barn, that is tucked away in the middle of Rancho Cordova.  This barn which once housed Samuel Henry Cowell's race horses, today bared witness to Alex & Kyle, holding hands and exchanging there "I Do's".

A secret about me; I find it hard to have fun. I work, photograph, edit, blog and help with home work. Fun is not something I make time for, but the ukulele seemed to change that.

La Sangre Te Llama

My fellow Boricua migrated from NYC to Sacramento in the 90's and we learned that we lived only a few miles away from each other when we were growing up in Brooklyn.  When we aren't riding our motorcycles, eating pizza, having a beer or a cigar we are talking about photography.

5 On Location Photo Tips

Grab your favorite gear.  If this a model shoot practice with a camera body or a lens that you always wanted to try. If it's a paid gig use the equipment you are most comfortable with.

Photo Booth | St. Francis Freshman Night

St. Francis High School was packed with excitement as the young ladies met with their future teachers and classmates.  Some in the crowd were St. Francis parents and for a few photos we asked the freshmen & alumni parents to pose together.

Cinco de Mayo | Viva la Mexicana

The colors of these set of images has an awesome Caribbean feel. The images give off a Miami  or Puerto Rico vibe; sexy and sophisticated.

Senior Portrait | WoodCreek High School

We were suppose to meet at the Capitol Rose Garden for Isabella photo shoot but, that was canceled due to the streets being blocked off for Earth Day activities. We then agreed to meet at the Rose Garden in McKinley Park, but those plans were crushed too due to a wedding.

Frida Kahlo | Cinco de Mayo

I was intrigued by Arianna's dress, head piece, jewelry, check bones and make up by Azael Designs . I knew that I wasn't going anywhere until Arianna was standing in front of my camera. I felt like I was photographing royalty.

Apple iWatch | Wrong

"Nope" I said, "I really wanted this product to work for me, but it's just a duplicate of my iPhone and I'm having a hard time fitting into my life." She looked at me perplexed.

Patrouille de France | Mather Airshow

It was awesome to see the Patrouille de France Alpha Jets at Mather Airport for a special performance to commemorate the 100th anniversary of the United States entering World War I.

Everything Bagel | I Stole It

The moment that my wife put it down and walked away; I took it, I have it, I stole it and it makes me happy.

Willow Ballroom | Photo Booth

Photo Booths are so much fun at weddings. After the "I DO's" and a few cocktails, every bridal party likes to crash the photo booth.  Raquel & Chris tied the knot on 4/1/17. It was fun watching the whole crew smiling and goofing off after a long day of wedding fun. More wedding pictures to come.

Happily Ever Namba

It's a great day for a wedding. Raquel & Chris are a fun couple to photograph. Their engagement session was a blast and I know their wedding at the The Willow Ballroom is going to be fantastic. When I asked Raquel for their hastag she said #HappilyEverAfter; I love it!

Fear | Life of Pi

"Fear next turns fully to your body, which is already aware that something terribly wrong is going on. Already your lungs have flown away like a bird and your guts have slithered away like a snake. Now your tongue drops dead like an opossum, while your jaw begins to gallop on the spot. Your ears go deaf. Your muscles begin to shiver as if they had malaria and your knees to shake as though they were dancing."

Fun Birthday

I've been told that as I get older, getting gifts for me is becoming a task; I agree. However, the gift givers hit it out of the park this year.  Was it a old man's birthday? Perhaps, but the best part was having cake with family and close friends; thanks for the memories.

The Head Shot

This my friend Shannon Vitro; LCSW. She just opened her own practice in Rocklin and she decided to celebrate with a new head shots for her new webpage. What's the first thing most people do when they leave a social or business gathering? They go on Google to see what they can find about the people they met at the event.

Retirement Party

"You have to dare to struggle." The struggle is real, but it seems to lose much of it's sting with Mary around. The last time we spoke she was braving the cold streets of New York City; look out New York.

Sunday Motorcycle Portrait

No rain today. I geared up and went out to enjoy the afternoon with the sun on my face and the wind on my back! When I got back my wife, saw my face and asked me how was my ride and all I could say was "I really enjoy being a motorcycle owner."

Rain, Stupidity & Divine Intervention

However, call it stupidity or divine intervention I'm going to be pretty busy the next couple of days. They say when it rains it pours, buckle up; there's a storm coming. The National Weather Service office in Sacramento says this weekend “could be the greatest potential for significant flooding we’ve seen in over 10 years.” If there was a best time to work on my webpage, I guess this weekend would be it!

Christmas Eve 2016

Christmas Eve 2016 a happy time, a somber time. The words of Alistair Cooke made an impact on me and I want to share them with you. “In the best of times, our days are numbered anyway.  So it would be a crime against nature for any generation to take the world crisis so solemnly that it put off enjoying those things for which we were designed in the first place: the opportunity to do good work, to enjoy friends, to fall in love, to hit a ball, and to bounce a baby.”
