We were suppose to meet at the Capitol Rose Garden for Isabella photo shoot but, that was canceled due to the streets being blocked off for Earth Day activities. We then agreed to meet at the Rose Garden in McKinley Park, but those plans were crushed too due to a wedding.
I was intrigued by Arianna's dress, head piece, jewelry, check bones and make up by Azael Designs . I knew that I wasn't going anywhere until Arianna was standing in front of my camera. I felt like I was photographing royalty.
It's a great day for a wedding. Raquel & Chris are a fun couple to photograph. Their engagement session was a blast and I know their wedding at the The Willow Ballroom is going to be fantastic. When I asked Raquel for their hastag she said #HappilyEverAfter; I love it!
"Fear next turns fully to your body, which is already aware that something terribly wrong is going on. Already your lungs have flown away like a bird and your guts have slithered away like a snake. Now your tongue drops dead like an opossum, while your jaw begins to gallop on the spot. Your ears go deaf. Your muscles begin to shiver as if they had malaria and your knees to shake as though they were dancing."
This my friend Shannon Vitro; LCSW. She just opened her own practice in Rocklin and she decided to celebrate with a new head shots for her new webpage. What's the first thing most people do when they leave a social or business gathering? They go on Google to see what they can find about the people they met at the event.
However, call it stupidity or divine intervention I'm going to be pretty busy the next couple of days. They say when it rains it pours, buckle up; there's a storm coming. The National Weather Service office in Sacramento says this weekend “could be the greatest potential for significant flooding we’ve seen in over 10 years.” If there was a best time to work on my webpage, I guess this weekend would be it!
Christmas Eve 2016 a happy time, a somber time. The words of Alistair Cooke made an impact on me and I want to share them with you. “In the best of times, our days are numbered anyway. So it would be a crime against nature for any generation to take the world crisis so solemnly that it put off enjoying those things for which we were designed in the first place: the opportunity to do good work, to enjoy friends, to fall in love, to hit a ball, and to bounce a baby.”
